ARpoise Data Privacy Policy

The ARpoise website, the AR-vos website, the ARpoise iOS app, the ARpoise Android app, the AR-vos iOS app, and the AR-vos Android app are all part of the ARpoise - Augmented Reality point of interest service environment.

ARpoise is an initiative striving to create an open source augmented reality platform. This privacy policy explains how our organization uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our websites or apps.

What data do we collect?

The ARpoise and AR-vos websites collect the following data:

When you view one of our websites, ARpoise collects the personal data provided by your browser to our server.
We collect the following data necessary for technical purposes to be able to demonstrate our website to you and to ensure adequate access stability and security (the legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Section (1) Letter (f) of the GDPR):

  • IP address;
  • Enquiry date and time;
  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT);
  • Enquiry content (the exact web page accessed);
  • Access status/HTTP status code;
  • Data volume transmitted in each case;
  • Website generating the enquiry;
  • Browser;
  • OS and its interface;
  • Browser language and version.
  • We do NOT collect any face data.

This data is retained for maximum 7 days and deleted upon expiry thereof.

When you use the ARpoise or AR-vos apps to load visible augmented reality content, ARpoise additionally collects the following information:

  • The GPS location of the device the app is running on;
  • The version of our app running on your device;

This data is retained for maximum 7 days and deleted upon expiry thereof.


How do we collect your data?

You directly provide ARpoise with all of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Access the ARpoise or AR-vos website via your browser;
  • Use one of the ARpoise apps to view augmented reality content;

How will we use your data?

ARpoise collects your data so that we can:

  • Process your request to view one of the pages on our websites.
  • Process your request to view augmented reality content.

ARpoise does not share your data with anybody else.


How do we store your data?

ARpoise securely stores your data on our web servers.

ARpoise will keep your data for 7 days. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data.


Marketing

ARpoise will never send you information about products and services of ours.


What are your data protection rights?

ARpoise would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access - You have the right to request ARpoise for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
  • The right to rectification - You have the right to request that ARpoise correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request ARpoise to complete information you believe is incomplete.
  • The right to erasure - You have the right to request that ARpoise erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that ARpoise restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to ARpoise's processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to data portability - You have the right to request that ARpoise transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
  • The right to rectification - You have the right to request that ARpoise correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request ARpoise to complete information you believe is incomplete.
